Get a unique perspective on Brooklyn from a group of guys who were here long before the hipsters at a screening of The ROMEOWS, Retired Older Men Eating Out Wednesdays at the Brooklyn Historical Society. The award-winning documentary directed by Robert Sarnoff profiles the Brooklyn Band of Buddies, a fun-loving group of friends who graduated from Brooklyn College in 1959 and now meet for dinner every Wednesday, where the topic of conversation ranges from healthcare reform to baseball. The screening begins at 6 pm and will be followed by a Q&A with the film’s subjects. A $5 donation is suggested.
