John J. O’Connor, known for large-scale works on paper that colorfully chart pop cultural and arcane data, has his fourth solo exhibition at Pierogi through June 19, and in this review by BB contrib Stephanie Buhmann, he says this show reflects “more diversity of ideas and even styles” than ever before. His collages, drawings, and for the first time, sculptures, reflect a range of influences as wide as the IBM computer Watson that recently competed on Jeopardy to the side effects of popular drugs.
