One of our favorite summertime institutions, the Renegade Craft Fair, returns to McCarren Park from 11am-7 pm this weekend. Spend an hour or two outside perusing jewelry, paper goods, t-shirts, ceramics and more, all designed and handmade by over 300 artists and independent crafters from Brooklyn and beyond. It’s a great place to pick up quirky presents for the people in your life who appreciate the unusual, like this necklace of tiny vampire teeth from VERAMEAT jewelry or a White Castle graphic towel from Live from Bklyn. The fair is free and will feature hands-on crafting workshops, food and drink.
