It’s not just Prospect Park and the Williamsburg Waterfront that gets to have all the fun when it comes to summer concerts. Though Summerstage is best known for the free shows it holds in Central Park, it shares the love throughout the five boroughs, with concerts in eighteen different parks. As part of the annual concert series, this week live music comes to Red Hook Park. The beats kick off on Tuesday night with a free performance by Brooklyn hip-hop legend Talib Kweli; though the show starts at seven, we recommend getting there early to scope out the best spots. Other musical acts this week include danceable indie rockers We Are Scientists and cultural mixologists Ozomatli.
