The Atlantic Antic, one of the only local street festivals famous enough to have its own Wikipedia article, is now in its 37th year. See what all the fuss is about this Sunday, when the mile-long event takes over Atlantic Ave from Hicks Street to Fourth Avenue. Performances are scheduled along Atlantic, ranging from a stage featuring kid-friendly acts like a musician and a family singalong at the Moxie Spot to a 2pm performance by Brooklyn French-fakers Les Sans Culottes at Last Exit. Hipster-friendly companies will be appearing at this year’s Antic, from Uniqlo hosting fashion pop-ups to Yelp playing “pin the skinny jeans on the hipster,” but you can also expect the usual hundreds of local vendors and other merchants with a wide range of goods and food. Beer fans should also look out for Sixpoint’s specially-brewed “Antic Amber” at bars on Atlantic.
