The Underground Food Collective, a group of cooks, caterers and kitchen pirates from Madison, Wisc., is returning to Brooklyn this weekend for a series of pop-up dinners. Since their last dinner in winter of 2010, the group opened a beautiful restaurant in Madison, only to see it burn down a few months later. They’ve re-grouped and are here to spread the word about their work to rebuild and to cook three fantastic seasonal dinners, on Dec. 2, 3 and 5. This crew knows how to throw a food party, so treat yourself–or take a friend as an early Christmas gift. The dinners are $65, BYOB encouraged, at the Sweet Deliverance Kitchens.
