On the first and third Sunday of every month, Freddy’s Bar is hosting a new music series where you can experience the creative process as it unfolds in real time. The Out of Your Head Collective is the brainchild of Adam Hopkins, a bassist from Baltimore, and it consists of a group of over 50 local musicians. For each performance, Hopkins picks a handful from the pool to form a group that has never rehearsed or played together until the live show begins. As quickly as the music is created, it’s gone, but we’re guessing that the memory of being part of this unique event will continue on.
