I spent a lot of my childhood watching Scooby Doo, and the special guest episodes were always my favorites. Phyllis Diller made an appearance on this 1972 episode called “A Good Medium is Rare” back when a raunchy comedian could guest star on a kids’ cartoon, rendered on screen with a cigarette holder and wild eyes.
