One of the best things about the breakup (or hiatus?) of Sonic Youth is all of the new projects coming from each member. This Thursday at Union Pool, Lee Ranaldo is playing for only $10. Ya heard? Since it’s at Union Pool you can also hang out in their sweet backyard and fill up on tacos from the El Diablo taco truck, and margaritas from the margarita machine behind the backyard tiki bar. While Ranaldo will be playing tracks from his new solo record Between the Times and the Tides, keep an ear open for some old Sonic Youth tunes, as he’s been known to throw a few in.
