Plan Ahead: A Host’s Homecoming

By

From his early days on The Man Show to his recent gig hosting the Emmys, Jimmy Kimmel’s career has taken a long and circuitous path. From Oct. 29 to Nov. 2, however, the comedian will return to his Brooklyn roots (he was born in Mill Basin in 1967) when he broadcasts a week’s worth of episodes of Jimmy Kimmel Live! from BAM. The popular late night talk show will be filmed live in the Harvey Theater, and although the guests have yet to be announced, there will be an emphasis on the citizens, sights, and sounds of our fair borough. Tickets are completely free to the public, but you will need to fill out a ticket request online, as well as prove that you are a fan of the show by emailing Guillermo (natch) and letting him know why you deserve to be a member of the studio audience. Get on this soon—seats at this unique event are bound to disappear quickly and you don’t want to be relegated to watching it on your TV like you would any other night.
