Due to extreme challenges our community composting partners are facing, as well as the incredible pressure that our friends at the Department of Sanitation are under due to Hurricane Sandy, there will be no food scrap collections at any Greenmarkets in Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and Manhattan this Saturday and Sunday.
