Lydia Lunch has made quite a racket since moving to NYC in 1973. She’s become sort of a legend in the underground music world, from her start in one of the most influential no-wave bands of all time, Teenage Jesus and The Jerks, to her latest endeavor, Retrovirus. Lunch, who has collaborated with the likes of Nick Cave, Thurston Moore, Kim Gordon, Robert Quine and more, is bringing her new party to the Knitting Factory this Thursday night. Her band features special guests Bob Bert (Sonic Youth), Algis Kizyz (Swans) and Weasel Walter. Don’t miss this night of NYC history, as you can see four legends who helped shape NYC’s music scene into the epicenter it eventually became, for only $18. Get your tickets now!
