Like so many other things, Hurricane Sandy messed with the Mermaid Parade. Coney Island USA does not have enough cash to cover the massive expenses for the annual celebration of all things weird, wonderful, brash and bawdy. Like so many other things, there’s a Kickstarter for that. If you need any more convincing after watching that video, check out our slideshow from last summer.
