Catch a Flick at Coney

By

For its first outdoor screening of the year, Coney Island’s Flicks on the Beach selected a classic film from 1953 set on the famous boardwalk itself. Little Fugitive was a sensation when it first screened 60 years ago and helped usher in the French New Wave Movement. In celebration of its diamond anniversary, a screening of the film is happening tonight at Beach and W. 10th Street, right around the area its main character little Joey Norton runs away to when he thinks he’s killed his older brother Lennie with a cap gun and some ketchup. Pre-show entertainment starts at 7:30pm with the film following at dusk. See what else is screening this week, or sync up with our Outdoor Films Calendar here.
