Didn’t make it up to Vacationland this summer? Or maybe, like me, you did and you’ve been dreamily checking job and apartment listings in Portland ever since. Regardless, you should check out the First Annual Lobstah Palooza at The Well this Saturday for a little taste of Down East. You get to make the always-difficult choice between a steamed lobster and a lobster roll, but either way your dinner will have been driven–alive and crawling–down from an independent, sustainable Maine lobersterman that very day. Throw some scalloped potatoes, corn on the cob, salad, bread and lots of melted butter in the mix and you’ve got yourself one magnificent meal. The seven hours of live music from Chemicals of Creation, DJ Sylo, and Julian Rhine is gravy. Tickets are $35 and are available here.
