OK, so you’ve already decided to do everything on our Tip Sheet this week, and you’re still looking for more? Here is a list of other awesome events happening in Brooklyn for you to check out, too.

Jan. 15-19: (Fort Greene) Forbes just selected 27-year-old Toyin Odutola as one of its 30-under-30 artists to watch, and you can keep a close eye on her work in “Six Draughtsman,” a group show at MoCADA featuring the drawings of six artists of Nigerian descent. Catch it before it closes Sunday.

Jan. 15: (Greenpoint) Join in a discussion, or feel free to sit idly by, as comic book experts Sean Howe (Marvel Comics: The Untold Story) and Tim Leong (Super Graphic: A Visual Guide to the Comic Book Universe) deliver a healthy dose of knowledge about comic books at Word. Admission is free, and they’ll be taking questions and signing books after the discussion (which starts at 7pm).

Jan. 19: (Greenpoint) Cap off your weekend with $1 oysters fresh from Fisher’s Island at The Diamond, starting at 5pm, and a tutorial on local oysters past, present and future at the bar’s in-house Center for Investigative Research.

Jan. 19: (Williamsburg) If your New Year’s resolution involves a better skin-and-beauty routine or this is the year you plan to master makeup, consider signing up for natural beauty guru Jessa Blades’ workshop this weekend at L’Ecole Des Beaux Arts. The Fort Greene makeup artist, whose new online shop we featured before the holidays, will lead a tutorial on how to keep your post-holiday sparkle and give tips on everyday makeup, as well as amped up evening looks. Class is from 5-7:30pm and tickets are $150.

Jan. 20: (Crown Heights) Run a 5K for MLK as part of Seeds in the Middle’s MLK Day of Service Event. Though the Civil Rights leader’s dream didn’t exactly cover cross-country running, it’s a great way to honor Martin Luther King’s legacy and do something healthy at the same time. The race starts at noon at P.S. 221 and ends at Da Nonna Rosa Restaurant in Park Slope. Register here.

Jan. 20: (Prospect Heights) If you still have questions about Obamacare that you need answers to before the program’s open enrollment ends on March 31, head to Brooklyn Brainery for a crash course in federal health-care coverage–you’ll learn what the Affordable Care Act means for uninsured New Yorkers, as well as get help navigating the online marketplace to pick out which coverage option is best for you. Tickets are $5 and class starts at 8:30pm.

Jan. 21: (Atlantic Terminal) GQ magazine/Fellow Barber’s full-service barbershop is now officially open at the Barclays Center, which means you can get a shave and a haircut while watching some hoops tonight when the Nets host the Orlando Magic (tip off is at 7:30pm).

Jan. 21: (South Slope) How good are you at calling bullshit? Hit up Freddy’s Bar for Bullshit History where peeps get on stage and tell fibs about little-known historical events, then the audience votes on whether the stories are even slightly believable. Free admission, starts at 9pm.
