Our family food festival, One More Bite, returns Oct. 22

Come play with your food at Brooklyn Based Kids’ second annual family food fair, One More Bite, returning Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017 to the Green Building in Gowanus with an even tastier lineup!

At One More Bite, we encourage kids to try new foods and learn how good food is made. Local farmers, activists and entrepreneurs offer delicious samples of their products, and lead kids of all ages in hands-on activities at The Green Building in Gowanus, Brooklyn. As your kids learn about the food system, and try new flavors, they seek out stamps for the special passbook they receive upon arrival, and pick out treats from the Peapod truck parked out front for their efforts.

Along with the nibbles from Peapod, Sir Kensington’s, the “World’s Best” Mac and Cheese from Beecher’s Handmade Cheese, Bear Pond Farms, Happy Family, GoodPop, Wonder+Well, Tuckrbox, Trois Petits Cochons, Gotham Greens and more:
-Order lunch in the courtyard from Pizza Moto
-Enroll your child in a kids cooking class with Tiny Turnips Kitchen or take a family meal planning class with Well Rooted Kitchen (each includes admission to the festival for the entire fam)
-Get creative at the Private Picassos “food coloring” station, where kids can make are from fruit and veggies
-Experiment with new flavors at the super food explorers station
-Play life-size Connect 4 and Jenga in the courtyard with Giant Games of NYC

See the vendors and games we have planned for this year’s installment at our event site, onemorebite.co, then gather the fam, invite your friends on Facebook and get tickets, $5 in advance, $10 at the door (two and unders are free).

Every advance ticket, including kids attending for free, gets you an entry to win one of several $50 gift cards at Peapod that we’ll be giving out at check-in!
