It’s hard to believe it, but it’s already been five years since the untimely death of Beastie Boy Adam Yauch, and on Saturday Littlefield is hosting the sixth annual MCA Day to celebrate the life of the inimitable artist and humanitarian. This will be the last MCA Day, which has grown bigger every year and draws fans from all over the world, and the event organizer promises that he plans to wind the tradition down with a bang (and lots of surprises). As in years past, you can expect art, music, community, and a fitting tribute to a beloved musician and activist who was taken too soon. The party starts at noon and is free to attend.
