This weekend, beautiful Green-Wood Cemetery will host a series of events to commemorate the 241st anniversary of the Battle of Brooklyn, the largest battle of the Revolutionary War, which took place on land that is now part of the cemetery itself. On Sunday, you can catch a full-scale reenactment of the battle starting at 11am, complete with a parade and a ceremony honoring the lives lost here on this day in 1776. The programming is free, but you should register here if you plan to attend.
