Become an oyster expert

Add a little luxury to a (presumably) freezing Wednesday night in winter by heading over to Greenpoint Fish & Lobster Co. at 8pm for a hands-on oyster shucking class. You’ll learn everything you ever wanted to know about the delicious briny bivalves, including how they are grown, what affects their flavor, and how to best prepare and enjoy them. The class is $60 per person, which includes instruction, lots of oysters to taste, other light snacks, and Narragansetts. Bon appetit!
