Spice things up this Saturday at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s annual Chile Pepper Festival, which brings dozens of vendors of capsaicin-laced sauces, pickles, popsicles, candy, and condiments to the garden’s beautiful grounds so you can sample their wares from 11am-6pm. In addition to live mariachi, Brazilian forro, African, New Orleans brass, reggae, and Cajun music being performed all day by a variety of acts, there will also be a fire-breathing show, an opportunity for children to pot their own pepper plants, a chile-inspired street art display, and more. Tickets are $25 and the fest runs from 11am-5pm.
