On Saturday, the Heatonist Hot Sauce Tasting Room in Williamsburg hosts its 4th annual Hatch Chile Roast, which means that 50 pounds of chile peppers from the Hatch region of New Mexico are currently en route to NYC, to be roasted on an outdoor grill in their garden, stuffed into tortillas with cojita cheese, and served alongside venison tacos, vegetarian chili, and cold beer and spicy cocktails. Tickets for this once yearly event are $30 each, and the event runs from 2-6pm.
