When actor/comedian/writer John Hodgman isn’t busy appearing in some of your favorite movies and tv shows, writing for The New York Times Magazine and Wired, doing voice work for video games, or publishing well-reviewed books, he has casually been putting out Judge John Hodgman, one of Rolling Stone’s Top 20 podcasts, every week for nearly a decade. In it, Hodgman, with the help of Jess Thorn as Bailiff, adjudicates all kinds of pressing disputes submitted by listeners, such as “Is a hot dog a sandwich?” It’s a rare and fun opportunity to get to see this unique brand of fake justice doled out live and in person, but it’s happening this Monday at Murmrr Theater at 8pm, and tickets are $30 each.
