A winter blues-busting beer crawl

By

This Sunday, Craft+Carry, the well-curated bottle shop in DeKalb Market Hall, is hosting its first-ever beer crawl from 2-6pm. Eight local breweries, like LIC Beer Project, Twin Fork, Keg & Lantern and more, will each be pouring two select brews for your day drinking enjoyment—that’s 16 beers in total! Obviously, you’ll need some food too so things don’t get sloppy, so it’s fortuitous that you’ll be smack in the middle of one of the city’s best food halls, featuring over 40 vendors slinging a diverse variety of eats, and that your ticket includes a free snack from one of them. Tickets to Spring Thaw Crawl at the Hall start at $45 each and are available here. If you want to make a full day of it, you just need to do a little extra planning and score some tickets to a matinee at Alamo Drafthouse. Parasite is still screening there, as well as the new Emma, which I saw and really enjoyed, and Portrait of A Lady On Fire, a French film that’s being hailed as a masterpiece of queer cinema.
