A meaty discussion about eating green at NYC’s only zero-waste wine bar

If you’ve been doing a sustainable audit of your life lately, foregoing fast fashion and swearing off plastic, how well you’re eating is probably top of mind too. On Tuesday, as a kind of teaser (or aperitif) for our event Holistic Picnic, zero-waste wine bar Rhodora‘s monthly sustainability panel will be themed around “Eating Green,” both in terms of incorporating more veg into your diet and environmental stewardship. Speaking on the subject will be Halley Chambers, Deputy Director of the Oberon Group (owners of Rhodora, June Wine Bar, Rucola and Purslane, who will be at Holistic Picnic), Anastasia Cole Plakias of Brooklyn Grange and Ronna Welsh of Purple Kale Kitchenworks and author of the excellent cookbook, The Nimble Cook.
