The Brooklyn Waterfront Epic Ride gives new meaning to taking the scenic route. If you feel up for a 40-mile bike ride along the waterfront from Greenpoint to the Rockaways, registration started today for the 5th annual epic ride happening July 27.
The ride is one of several new bits of bike news in Brooklyn as of late. It’s hosted by Brooklyn Greenway Initiative and promised to take riders along the waterfronts in Brooklyn and Queens to give them an idea of what’s in store once the overhaul to Brooklyn’s waterfront is finished. Tickets are $35 a rider or $30 each for a team of four.
